Foreign
Car Lot
formerly on 51st Ave., Nashville
Back a few years ago (around 2002), there was a grassy
lot in West Nashville that was home to a number of foreign cars, presumably
for sale. The lot was surrounded by a chain-link fence, so it was a bit of
a challenge getting these shots. Most of the cars were British (Austin-Healey,
Triumph, MG, and a Jaguar or two). Of course, I was attracted to the collection
because my first three cars were all red Triumph Spitfires ('62, '63, and
a '64). I was particularly interested in the GT-6 at the corner of the lot,
but it wasn't in the budget. Alas, while there is a car establishment on
the same corner, these cars are no longer there.
